Thread doesn't stretchy and has no clasp so it cannot be pulled over head or fastened at neck. However black stripes are long enough to wrap around the neck and tie a bow. At the result pearls are only at the front but not at the back. But it's not a problem for me so I'm satisfied enough. But maybe its crucial for someone idk.........
